If you look below you will see an example of what the scallop cut out looks like. Just an extra thing to spice up a invitation or card, it could also be used for labeling cupcakes or even cards (as you can see this is one is for my cousin's baby shower coming up). A simple shape that can be used so many ways. I specially love using my stamps or printing something else out. Printing then cut can be tricky, but , maybe I will make step by step or video tutorial explaining the tricks I have found with the many trials that I have done.
Alright, so for today's freebie. I created something yesterday just in time for the holidays. It is a flower pedal/leaf shape that you can use to cut out and create 3-D flowers like poinsettias (basically my inspiration after getting a lot of them this weekend). The basic steps for this is cutting out 2 or 3 of the cut out and putting it together. I actually want to try sizing them a little differently for each layer to get a more realistic look.
